Julian O’Neill reports on the funerals of the 6 Catholics murdered in a terror attack by the UVF (Ulster Volunteer Force) in a pub in Loughinisland, County Down, Northern Ireland. Messages of condolence from Pope John Paul II and Queen Elizabeth II were read out. Speakers include: Rev Conleth O’Reilly; Rev Anthony Farquhar. The victims were Adrian Rogan, 34; Eamon Byrne, 39; his brother-in-law Patsy O’Hare, 35; Dan McCreanor, 59; his uncle Barney Green, 87; Malcolm Jenkinson, 54. Originally broadcast on Downtown Radio.
