As the Strangeways Prison siege enters its tenth day, Ian Lockwood, one of the negotiators, issues a statement. He claims progress has been maintained in a number of areas of the prison, but that inmates have had a disturbed night, and that the negotiators(?) are concerned with structure within the main prison, and whether safe staff entry can be ensured.
