Simpson went on the run as police tried to arrest him for murder, the 75 minute police chase 8 hours later was aired on every major television news channel. And on the evidence against him. At a news conference Simpson’s lawyer Robert Shapiro responds to questions about the disappearance and Robert Kadashian, friend of Simpson’s, reads a suicide note written by the accused. Police Commander David Gascoigne responds to press speculation the police should have arrested him earlier.
