The Bishop of Durham is to retire next year after ten years in the post. 68 year-old Dr David Jenkins has been the most outspoken cleric in Britain, with his opinions on the Virgin Birth and the Resurrection upsetting many traditional Christians. Jenkins says it is right for the Church to talk about politics, especially when politicians fail to address some issues. Male interviewer not identified.
