Description
Vivian White interviews John Maguire, three of whose children were run over and killed in Andersonstown, West Belfast when a (Provisional?) IRA driver was shot dead by the British Army. Maguire says that everyone in the country should ostracise men of violence. He says British people would not have tolerated what the Northern Irish people have had to go through; also, there should be a local police force in West Belfast. Their mother Anne Maguire - injured in the incident - was one of the founders of the Northern Ireland Peace People movement.
