Paul Woodley reports from United Nations headquarters in New York following the partial lifting of economic sanctions against Iraq imposed in the wake of its invasion of Kuwait, now the Gulf War has ended. And on living conditions in Iraq and UN debating a more permanent ceasefire. The UN sanctions committee will waive the embargo on food, and goods needed to produce food due to humanitarian needs but says all areas including those held by rebels must receive food.
