The actor Andrew Cruickshank, known to millions of television viewers as Dr Cameron in the hit series Dr Finlay’s Casebook, died in London today after a heart attack. He was 80 years old and, as John Cookson reports, his career spanned 50 years and kept him working up until shortly before his death. Clip includes an excerpt from Doctor Finlay’s Casebook.
