- Alban Turner, who served two and a half years for the so-called Coke Can Murder at the Notting Hill Carnival, is released and makes a statement criticising police handling of the affair. His father, Alban Turner Sr., thanks the actual perpetrator of the crime, Kevin Sarbucks, for coming forward. His mother, Ursula Turner, also comments. Dominique Harvie reports.
