Statement by Alastair Morgan (not identified), brother of private detective Daniel Morgan murdered in Sydenham, on behalf of himself and his mother. He says they will not comment yet on the possibility of taking out a private prosecution; they will be complaining to the Police Complaints Authority about the inclusion of ex-Detective Sergeant Fillery in the murder squad, given his connection with Morgan’s business partner, William John Rees; and he thanks their legal team and the organisation, INQUEST, for their support.
