- Report on the 21st anniversary of the annual Women of the Year award. The Duchess of Gloucester, Lady Mary Wilson (wife of former Prime Minister Harold Wilson) and 750 guests attended. The event raised money for the Greater London Fund for the Blind. The proceedings were interrupted by Pat Arrowsmith of the Troops Out (of Northern Ireland) Movement proposing a toast for Emma Groves, who was shot in the eye and blinded by British troops in Northern Ireland. Arrowsmith is interviewed; also vox pop with some of the attendees on their reactions to the episode. Female reporter not identified.
