Jeff Collins reports on the nurses’ pay dispute, following RCN decision to ballot its members on abolishing their no-strike clause. Christine Hancock General Secretary announces the decision. Leaders of several of the other health unions have been meeting to discuss their next move in the campaign to persuade the government to improve the national pay award. They believe industrial action is on the cards and they’re ready for a fight.
