Mark Phillips interviews NUM solicitor Mark Stephens following the High Court ruling after a 7 months case costing £156million that British Coal has now genuinely consulted with trade unions and is abiding with the law over mine closures and can now go ahead with the first 10 closures. Some coal mines will be privatised, other miners will lose their jobs.
