Description

Yesterday the hijackers of Kuwait Airways Flight 422 shot a Kuwaiti army officer before freeing a young Kuwaiti hostage in what they said was a goodwill gesture. Cypriot Government spokesman Akis Fantis says the hijackers must release all the hostages before they will be allowed to leave. He also says that the dead soldier had been tortured, and reports on the freed man’s condition. Male interviewer not identified. For AM programme.
