Description

Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Roy Mason on the results and recommendations of the Bennett Report, which investigated reports of injuries sustained by prisoners while in police custody. Mason says the Government will adopt the practice of placing CCTV cameras inside interrogation rooms and will allow future prisoners access to their lawyers every 48 hours.
