Statement by singer-songwriter, Paul McCartney, announcing that he wants to build the world’s best fame school in Liverpool. The former Beatle has launched a £12million appeal to build the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts on the site of his old school. Paul says he’d been trying to think of a way to help the people of Liverpool, but it was a comment from a fellow Liverpudlian that gave him the idea.
