Description

Max Cotton reports on the start of London’s celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary of the D-Day Normandy landings on 6 June 1944 with a special ceremony and launch of an exhibition at the RAF Museum at Hendon, which displays of some of the planes used. Includes curator Dr Michael Fopp on the exhibition; two of the veterans attending talk about their D-Day experiences. With actuality of the band and fly past of planes during the ceremony.
