Description

James Bays reports on Nelson Mandela’s first tour outside of Africa since his release from prison. He visited and here pays tribute to his friend and former ANC leader Oliver Tambo, who is recovering from a stroke in Sweden. Mandela says that whether or not he has talks with UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher will be decided by the ANC at the right time, but his message to all countries is to intensify sanctions against South Africa.
