Tony Blair has said businesses should be charged interest and/or blacklisted if they pay their bills late. And he has conceded that some small businesses need to be protected from some of the complexities of employment legislation, but with workers’ rights remaining in place. The Labour leader’s thoughts were delivered today at an industry forum conference in Bishopsgate. Paul Gordon reports.
