- The relatives of 51 people who died in the Marchioness pleasure boat disaster say their grief has been aggravated by a row over compensation. Patrick Allen, solicitors’ spokesman, explains the reasons for the impounding of the sister ships of the two vessels involved in the accident. Survivor Geoffrey Rodriguez(?) believes any compensation has already come too late, whilst fellow survivor, Magda Allani demands a public inquiry. James Bays reports.
