US Secretary of State George Shultz speaks to the media following his talks in Moscow with USSR officials on arms reduction. He says progress has been made and any reduction would follow the Reykjavik formulae and follow consultation with NATO allies. The USSR has made clear their intent to sign an Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) agreement and destroy missiles based in Czechoslovakia or East Germany.
