Paul Woodley reports on the Exxon Valdez tanker oil spill in Alaska- how pilot Frank Cousins was not authorised to steer the ship, captain Joe Hazelwood being relieved of his duty and not on deck when the accident occurred, the cleanup attempts. Alaska state official Daniel Lawn on discovering holes in the hull of the ship; on cleanup: Dennis Kelso, environmental officer; local Rick Flanders; Exxon president Frank Iarossi. Also local fisherman Jim Brown on the damage done.
