- Interview with Kent Durr, South Africa’s ambassador to Great Britain on the recent admission by President F W De Klerk South Africa had 6 nuclear bombs in the 1980s which have since been dismantled. He says the weapons were needed at the time; the country has been subject to a large number of inspections following signing the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and has nothing to hide; and also discusses the plan to crackdown on violence in South Africa including a proposal to bring back the death penalty.
