Linda Duffin reports on a speech by the Chairman of the BBC, Marmaduke Hussey, in which he attacked his own corporation. Speaking at the annual conference of the Institute of Directors in London, Hussey said that when he took over fifteen months ago he had found an attitude of complacency and arrogance, and said the BBC had to recapture its lost reputation for integrity and independence.
