John Cookson reports on a High Court decision where a man who served 15 years of a life sentence for a 35 pence armed robbery has had his claim for compensation rejected. Robert Weekes, who was convicted of the pet shop robbery, in Gosport, Hampshire, in 1966 appealed on the grounds there had been a miscarriage of justice.
