Description

Gay and lesbian demonstrators protesting against the age of consent were blocked on their way to Westminster last night prompting some - such as singer Jimmy Sommerville - to lie in the road. Peter Tatchell and Fernando Goard(?) of Outrage, who organised the march, say they are simply seeking equal rights but gay group Stonewall says it will have nothing to do with protests and will instead lobby Parliament. Report by Chris Chambers includes vox pop with demonstrators.
