Description
Dr Maurice Rosey discusses the subject of corporal punishment in schools, following the publication of a MIND report. He claims the punishment, where administered, should be spontaneous, so that the child recognises the severity of the act. He claims that people run away from the idea of abolishing the punishment, because they see themselves threatened. He also says that in schools where corporal punishment has been abolished, instances of bad behaviour have not increased.
