Yesterday 32 women became the first to be ordained into the Church of England and this report by David Addis includes audio from the service conducted by the Bishop of Bristol, the Right Reverend Barry Rogerson at Bristol Cathedral. Also ordination of the first woman priest, the Chaplain of Bristol University Angela Berners-Wilson and the conclusion of the service met with rousing applause. With comment from Father Francis Bone and the Archbishop of Canterbury Dr George Carey.
