Paul Woodley reports from New York on the start of the trial of four LA police officers - Laurence Powell, Timothy Wind, Theodore Briseno and Sergeant Stacey Koon - who were filmed beating motorist Rodney King. Includes statements from the prosecutor Terry White and defence lawyer Michael Stone who argued officers present believed King was under the influence of Angel Dust (PCP) and therefore the level of force was appropriate.
