Emma Howard reports for LBC Newstalk 97.3 on the latest in the Gulf War including Iraqi military aircraft arriving in neutral Iran. It was first thought they were defecting but Edward Foster from the Royal United Services Institute for Defence Studies believes the exodus was engineered to keep the expensive war machinery safe. In a press conference Iran’s ambassador to the UN, Sadegh Kharazi, says Iran will seize the aircraft until the end of the war. Israeli Colonel Raanan Gissin talks about an Iraqi scud missile attack on Israel. Peter Arnett reports back from Baghdad (he is last Western reporter) on his interview with Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.
