- Description
- One of those schools identified in the recent report by Chris Woodhead, Chief Inspector of Schools as improving standards is the Greycoat Hospital School for Girls in Victoria. Senior teacher Neil Ritchie says the inspection put most of the staff under tremendous pressure; Head Teacher Marianne Parson says the inspections are necessary but the system could be improved - and part of the problem lies with the make-up of the inspection teams; a sixth-form pupil, Sharon Werner, says they do expect to get a good education at the school. Jeff Collins reports.
