Description
Conservative MP Sir Nicholas Fairbairn attacks Lord Longford’s campaign to free Myra Hindley. Hindley was imprisoned for life after she and her lover Ian Brady were found guilty of sexually abusing and killing children in the 1960s. Nicholas suggests that Longford is only interested in helping Myra because of her Catholic faith and that if she were a Protestant it would be a different matter. Nicholas thinks that psychopaths remain psychopaths for life and Hindley will remain unfit for release. Male interviewer not identified.
