Michael Bewick, London surgeon, at the centre of a kidneys-for-sale row is calling on the Government to set up a special panel to interview potential donors to make sure doctors aren’t duped. He admits he carried out transplants using kidneys donated by three Turks who claim they were paid for the organs they donated - Mr Bewick says he had no idea money had changed hands.
