Conservative MP, Ian Gow, speaking on the AM programme, reiterates his view that the Anglo-Irish Agreement will only prolong Northern Ireland’s agony, but expresses his opposition to the 24-hour strike and the unlawful activities that took place during it. He agrees with Northern Ireland Secretary, Tom King that talks between Unionists and the British Government should be resumed as soon as possible.
