He shares his views of teachers who oppose him, branding them red, otherwise Leftist or Communist, by virtue of their opposition and their badge-wearing in school. He also expresses distaste for the ethnic minority pupils in his classes and the multiracial, multicultural content of the English and Religious Education curriculum.
