Description

The case of the four men convicted for the 1978 murder of 13 year-old newspaper boy Carl Bridgewater, who was shot dead when he disturbed a burglary at Yew Tree Farm, Stourbridge. Home Secretary Kenneth Clarke stating he is satisfied the conviction is safe and he will not be referring the case to the Court of Appeal for a second review. Also discounting suggestions of improper conduct by Detective Constable John Perkins when he took the confession statement from Patrick Molloy. Male interviewer not identified. Recording in mono.
