Rachel Nickell was sexually assaulted and stabbed to death six months ago whilst walking on Wimbledon Common with her dog and young son, Alex. Appeal by Rachel’s father, Andrew Nickell, shortly after a verdict of unlawful killing was recorded at the inquest. Nickell on his sympathy for the families of other female murder victims in cases where there has been little witness evidence, and calling for the estimated 15 to 20 people on the Common at the time to come forward.
