Description
New Zealand’s Prime Minister, Sir Robert Muldoon, discusses the country’s exports. He explains that an arrangement expired at the end of last year and it is now rolling over on a month-to-month basis. A proposal was put forward by the (European?) Commission which would be acceptable to New Zealand but is not acceptable to the French. Another proposal was put forward regarding lamb exports. Muldoon discussed agriculture and international trade and payment systems with British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. He feels they are in between the views of the third world and industrialised communities. Male interviewer not identified.
