Description

Telephone interview with an unidentified member of the Lebanese Army in the British barracks in Beirut. He says the British have packed up and gone to sea. They left many things behind, including chairs, fridges and papers. The Lebanese Army does not know what it will do with the base yet but it will hold that position. It is currently facing gunfire.
