Description

Karen English from Downtown Radio in Ireland reports on the shooting at the Sinn Fein Headquarters in Belfast by an RUC officer who later committed suicide, 3 people were killed. Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams is allowed to comment on the radio despite the broadcasting ban on terrorist groups as he is an eyewitness. Irish President Mary Robinson (visiting Northern Ireland for first time as President) and TUC general secretary Norman Willis also comment.
