Colin Hatch has been convicted of the murder of schoolboy Sean Williams. Williams’s parents John and Lynne ask why Hatch was released from custody for a similar offence. Legal affairs correspondent Tim Crook reports on the case. Detective Superintendent Duncan McRae(?) says (in a press conference?) that, had all the authorities had access to Hatch’s background, Sean Williams might never have died.
