Wartime singer Dame Vera Lynn has criticised Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh for his decision to attend the funeral of Emperor Hirohito in Japan. She says the Duke should not go to Japan as a representative of the British royal family, and he should show solidarity with Burma Star Association members who fought the Japanese in World War II.
