- Description
- Home Secretary Douglas Hurd has allowed the four people convicted of the Guildford and Woolwich pub bombings to take their case to the Court of Appeal. Labour MP, Jeremy Corbyn says the decision is a tribute to the efforts of families and friends of the suspects who claim the four are innocent. Labour MP, Chris Mullin says there is a long way to go before the Guildford Four can think of freedom. Errol Smalley, the uncle of Paul Hill, one of the convicted, is disappointed in Hurd for not ordering their release. Des Fahy reports.
