Defence Secretary Tom King speaks to reporter Simon Israel, applauding US President George Bush on his plans to reduce nuclear arms. Bush recently met Russian President Boris Yeltsin to discuss the reduction of arms, with Yeltsin supporting calls for conventional and nuclear arms reduction. King wants to see the reduction of Russia’s nuclear arsenal but does not want to see Britain lose her nuclear deterrent.
