Description

Defence correspondent Paul Maurice reports from Saudi Arabia as the Deserts Rats of the British 7th Armoured Brigade train in preparation for war in Iraq. Colonel John Morbey(?) describes the manoeuvres and the mine clearing training. The 600 soldiers are testing all of their equipment in case of war, including tanks, machine guns and night vision equipment. Audio distorted; speech has metallic quality.
