- Description
- Interview with unidentified British male (presumably Don Cameron or Christopher Davey) in the wake of the American team’s record crossing of the Atlantic by hot air balloon. The speaker talks about his own recent (unsuccessful) attempt to secure the record, about the team’s disappointment at having to abort the crossing, and about the possibility of a round-the-world circuit. He ends on a note of caution with regard to round-the-world racing, however, speculating that the international rivalry this would entail might increase the recklessness and so further endanger the lives of those taking part. Male interviewer not identified (poss. Paul Woodley?).
