Report on the fatal Taunton sleeping car fire of 06/07/78, in which a number of rail passengers died, some of them locked into their carriages. Unidentified male reporter speaks to Nigel Musselwhite, Chief Fire Officer for Somerset, about the special problems faced in dealing with train fires; Alan Dunbat(?), an ambulance man who was at the scene of the rescue; Arthur Court, BR spokesman, on the adequacy of safety precautions. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
