Air Chief Vice Marshall John Thomson on the damage inflicted by coalition air strikes in southern Iraq following the country’s non- compliance with UN Security Council resolutions. He says damage has yet to be assessed but the attacks were against military targets, after Iraqi claims of civilian deaths in the residential quarter of Basra.
