Description

A British Midland Boeing 737 has crashed onto the embankment of the M1 motorway near Kegworth in Leicestershire as it attempted to make an emergency landing at East Midlands Airport with one of its engines ablaze. Gary Moran (apparently the first reporter to arrive at the crash scene) reports on the wreckage and the emergency crews’ search for survivors.
