Paul Woodley reports on Bill Clinton’s upcoming first visit to Europe since becoming US President. He will first attend a NATO summit in Brussels where membership of former Soviet states, a new joint combined task force and peacekeeping in Bosnia will be on the agenda. He then goes on to Eastern Europe and Moscow for talks with Boris Yeltsin. Includes speech excerpts from US Defence Secretary Les Aspin and US Treasury Secretary Lloyd Bentsen outlining policies.
