Description

Following the abduction and subsequent escape of Arab businessman Muhammed Sadiq al-Tajir in London, police are hunting the go-between, known as Mr X, who collected a ransom in Geneva. 80 year-old Iris Harlow, of West Norwood, describes how Tajir came to her door for help, still shackled to a bedstead. Pensioner Cyril Rawlinson also spoke to him, before police arrived. Local resident John Gilpin describes a man previously seen at the house where Tajir was held. Male reporter not identified.
